I'm a Dublin based foodie exploring my life long passion for all things edible. I've always had a passion for food ever since I was a little girl. Whether it was helping my Granny make her famed apple pies and soda breads or being taught the baking basics by my aunt, I couldn't get enough of being in the kitchen. Life intervened, I grew up and pursued other avenues, as all children must, but I never forgot the thrill and excitement, and apprehension, that you experience while waiting for a cake to come out of the oven. Or the joy that the discovery of a new favourite restaurant brings. Or the desperation and despair when the perfect home cooked meal for that special occasion you've being planning for ages turns out to be a complete flop.
So, when life took another change in direction last year and I found myself back in Dublin with more free time on my hands than I was used to I decided to get back in the kitchen and have been looking for excuses to cook for people ever since. I've been fascinated by the idea of the supper club for a while now and although slightly nervous and apprehensive of the concept I have decided to embrace it wholeheartedly and am opening my doors to anyone who would care to come to dinner.
