Welcome to the Arbutus Supper Club!
The Arbutus
Supper Club is the newest in a growing number of Dublin based supper
clubs. For those of you not familiar with this movement, it's a new
dining experience that allows you to enjoy good food and meet new people
in new exciting environments, namely the hosts homes. Eager cooks are
throwing open their kitchen doors and inviting friends and strangers
alike to join them for dinner. The host does all the cooking and all the
guests need do is show up with donation in hand, a bottle of wine if
that's your fancy and enjoy. Size, situation and atmosphere vary from
club to club and each has it's own unique character which adds to the
attraction of the evening.
This site is designed to
tell you all you need to know about the Arbutus Supper Club should you
be thinking of coming to one of my dinners or indeed if you just want to
find out more about supper clubs in general. Due to my rambling nature,
my blog (Thearbutusclub) was getting a little over-run with non supper club related chat so I thought it high time the club got it's own page.
